A new  WordPress theme from Jestro.com  was unveiled recently called Vigilance.  With it’s clean lines and rich set of features; I have to add it my list of best Free WordPress themes for small business.

One caveat about the word Free…the template itself is Free.  That means that you can go to Jestro and download the template without having to enter a credit card!  And voila, just like that you will have this cool, feature rich theme at your finger tips.  You can start building out your new site in minutes.

But, if you need any support (and most of us do) uh oh…that’s when Free changes gears to $39.00 please.  But even so, it’s still a bargain.

The features include:

  • Flexible Top Banner Image which let’s you create  static image, rotating image or even page and post specific images…very handy to create a custom look and feel.
  • Attractive horizontal navigation.
  • Customizable colors to set your background color, border color, link color, and link hover color.
  • Choose between multiple sidebar widget ready configurations. Want one wide sidebar or two skinny sidebars? You can have them! And powered by widgets, you can easily create just the look and feel that you want.
  • It’s also optimized for search engines with features like dynamic <h1> tags and is Google Analytics ready.

The team at WordPress is equally impressed.  Vigilance joins an elite group of only 60 other themes, available to wordpress.com hosted sites.

Nice theme, must be really good to be offered at wordpress.com, they really are limited in themes.
